Climate Action
We are an integral part of nature; our fate is tightly linked with biodiversity.
We share the planet with as many as 13 million different living species including
plants, animals and bacteria! The well-being of humanity, the environment,
and the functioning of our economy, ultimately depend upon the responsible
management of our planet’s natural resources.
The Problem
Years of industrial and human pollution, indiscriminate construction and waste
management; the slash and burn of our forests; and unsustainable agricultural
practices have brought about enough damage to the environment to cause climate
change, and many of the natural disasters we have seen in recent times like
droughts, floods, soil erosions and landslides.

Change starts with YOUth
The battle against climate change is upon all of us. All around the world, young
people like you are taking climate action to protect the environment and Mother Earth.
We must cut carbon pollution, promote energy efficiency and call for investments
in renewable forms of electricity generation and transport systems.
We must act now to protect our earth, our security and future.
